If you are going to attempt to throw the long bomb against the Avengers, you have to deal with Damen Wheeler. He is the heart and soul of our defensive backfield, and he has been doing a hell of job back there all season, in particular during Kevin Ingram's five-week stint on the IR list. Wheeler earned AFL "All-Rookie" honors in 2003. In 2006 he had 70 tackles, 19 pass deflections, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.Damen is one of the hardest working guys on the team as he is usually running deep on every defensive play. I don't know what we would do without him.
