Glass Wall Up High

I couldn't help but notice that the Hualapai Indian tribe, which has built the glass bridge 4,000 feet over the Grand Canyon, is pronounced WALL-uh-pie, or perhaps WALL-up-high?

Coincidence? I think not so.
