Over on the Tony Board last week my friend Jim Guida asked for a list of three films that we thought people should see, but hadn't. I gave my three and then added a fourth: Franco Zeffirelli's Brother Sun, Sister Moon. It is the story of a rich merchant's son, Francesco Di Bernardone, and his transformation into St. Francis of Assisi. It is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen, with an astounding score by Donovan. I'm going to talk again about this wonderful film, but or now, just enjoy this, the opening sequence and song, A Soldier's Dream.
