Talk about a long birthing! The 210 Freeway was first planned 59 years ago; the final section of the freeway opens this morning at 10:00 AM. That section just happens to be between my house in La Verne and my parents house in San Bernardino. I plan on running out there today just to see how much time the final 7 and a half mile, $233 million section will take off of the total trip time. The opening of other sections in the past seven years have cut the drive in half and this last bit should take 10 minutes or so off, making a 15 to 20 minute trip out of what once took an hour.

Driving me Crazy!
