One Last Birthday Present!

Make that two. First, my wife said there was one coming in the mail and it arrived today: a set of 96 Prismacolor NuPastels, like I used to under-paint Bowie. This is a very cool gift as I will no longer have to onesy-twosy the NuPastels during trips to the Blicks Art Store in Pasadena and I can buy open-stock replacement sticks there when I need them.

Second, I received four tickets to Monday's Avengers play-off game. There are "Best seat in the House" tickets. All I have to do is get down to the Staples box-office and cash them in for numbered seats. So, all in all, I have six seats for Monday's game. Time to round up the friends!
