When you talk about Republicans and hypocrisy, it is hard to believe you will hear anything new. The Republican party is the bastion of blatant hypocrisy, but sometimes the gross excess of it all surprises me. Stupid me for having any faith in Republicans.You think you have heard and seen it all and then a slime like Newt Gingrich once again rears his foul head. Gingrich was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group (is there really any other kind anymore?).
Yeah, this is the party of morals. They believe you should be forced to have them and they should be allowed to do whatever they wish.
